About the Role
You will design telemetry ingest and storage pipelines for metrics, logs, traces, and error data. You will build low-overhead observability solutions, instrumentation libraries, SDKs, eBPF auto-instrumentation, query interfaces, and diagnostic tooling. You will improve fleet efficiency through profiling and utilization insights while partnering with internal teams on operational visibility.
Requirements
- Experience building and operating large-scale observability or monitoring infrastructure
- Hands-on experience with observability signals from instrumentation through analysis
- Understanding of high-throughput telemetry pipeline tradeoffs
- Ability to debug kernel, network stack, or hardware issues
- Excellent communication and internal partnership skills
- Ability to work independently on ambiguous technical challenges
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable telemetry ingest and storage pipelines
- Build low-overhead observability solutions across the fleet
- Own and evolve observability platforms, migrations, and architecture
- Build instrumentation libraries, SDKs, and eBPF-based auto-instrumentation
- Build cross-signal correlation, query interfaces, and diagnostic tooling
- Turn profiling and utilization telemetry into optimization insights
- Partner with internal teams on observability needs
