About the Role
You will set technical direction for production AI systems, define quality and evaluation strategies, improve model behavior, and architect agentic systems. You will lead post-training initiatives, build feedback-driven improvement loops, shape the technical roadmap, mentor engineers, and translate AI research into reliable clinical products.
Requirements
- 7+ years of production ML, research engineering, or applied AI experience
- Expertise with modern LLMs, transformers, and production AI systems
- Experience designing evaluations for LLMs or agents
- Experience building or architecting production agentic systems
- Experience improving models through post-training or model adaptation
- Proficiency in Python and modern ML frameworks
- Experience with MLOps, CI/CD, observability, and containerized deployments
- Experience building high-quality datasets and feedback loops
Responsibilities
- Define AI quality and evaluation strategy for LLM and agentic systems
- Drive production model improvements across prompting, retrieval, routing, data, and post-training
- Advance post-training capabilities including fine-tuning, preference optimization, reinforcement learning, distillation, and synthetic data
- Architect production agentic AI systems
- Build self-improving loops from production failures and user feedback
- Co-develop the technical roadmap
- Lead technical reviews, mentor engineers, and establish best practices
- Drive experiments informed by research in LLMs, agents, NLP, speech, and multimodal AI
