About the Role
You will architect scalable compute platforms for AI, machine learning, simulation, and high-throughput workloads. You will define standards, roadmaps, and reference designs; assess CPU, GPU, and accelerator trade-offs; translate workload needs into platform requirements; lead platform validation; and mentor engineers on performance tuning and architecture.
Requirements
- 7+ years architecting large-scale 10k-100k+ GPU HPC or cloud compute platforms
- Knowledge of CPU and GPU architectures, memory hierarchies, and accelerator topologies
- Experience with NVLink, InfiniBand, and RoCE fabrics
- Knowledge of performance tuning, resource scheduling, thermal and power optimization, and compute lifecycle management
- Ability to work across hardware, software, operating system, and orchestration layers
- Analytical and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Architect scalable compute platforms for AI, machine learning, simulation, and high-throughput workloads
- Develop compute system standards and design patterns
- Evaluate CPU, GPU, and accelerator technologies and make architectural trade-off decisions
- Map workload requirements to compute platform capabilities across bare-metal and cloud deployments
- Define platform roadmaps and architectural reference designs
- Lead validation and performance characterization for new platform introductions
- Mentor engineers and stakeholders on compute performance tuning and architectural decisions
