About the Role

You will define and execute validation and verification for complex electronic systems throughout the product lifecycle. You will create validation strategies and test plans, perform hands-on board bring-up and testing, automate tests, analyze failures, collaborate with ODM partners, drive corrective actions, and document validation results and readiness assessments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of board-level hardware validation experience
• Understanding of digital and mixed-signal electronic systems
• Experience validating PCIe, USB, Ethernet, DDR, MIPI, SPI, I2C, UART, or similar interfaces
• Hands-on experience with laboratory instrumentation and measurement techniques
• Experience working with ODMs, contract manufacturers, or external engineering partners
• Hardware debugging and root-cause analysis skills
• Experience developing test automation with Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB, or similar tools
• Technical documentation and communication skills
• Experience with server, networking, embedded, AI/ML hardware, or datacenter platforms
• Experience supporting NPI and manufacturing ramp activities
• Experience with schematic review and PCB design fundamentals

Responsibilities

• Define board-level and inter-board validation plans
• Develop functional, electrical, thermal, power, signal integrity, reliability, and stress-testing methodologies
• Establish test coverage, acceptance criteria, and qualification requirements
• Review hardware architecture and schematics for validation risks
• Develop, automate, and execute tests on prototype and production-intent hardware
• Perform board bring-up, functional verification, electrical characterization, and system-level validation
• Use laboratory equipment to collect and analyze data
• Create test fixtures, scripts, and tools
• Coordinate validation plans and qualification activities with ODM partners
• Investigate hardware failures and validation escapes
• Drive corrective actions and validate fixes
• Author test plans, procedures, reports, and qualification summaries
• Track validation status, risks, defects, and corrective actions
• Present validation results and readiness assessments
