About the Role

You will lead hardware bring-up for ATE equipment and photonic IC products, investigate hardware anomalies, and create automated system-level test software. You will work with IC design, DFT, and firmware stakeholders to define test requirements and distinguish silicon defects from board-level issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline with 8+ years of hands-on experience in hardware bring-up, PCBA functional testing, and custom ATE loadboard or socket integration for complex ASICs or SoCs
• Expertise validating multi-rail power-up and power-down sequences and troubleshooting dynamic loads
• Mastery of JTAG, QSPI/QPI, I2C, and SPI protocols
• Experience with hardware verification, firmware diagnostic APIs, and direct register read and write routines
• Advanced Python or C/C++ proficiency for test automation and lab-instrument control
• Hands-on experience with DMMs, SMUs, programmable power supplies, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end hardware bring-up for ATE hardware and partner with equipment suppliers to debug anomalies
• Lead initial electrical bring-up for photonic IC products on system-level evaluation boards
• Architect and build automated system-level test software in Python or C/C++
• Collaborate with IC Design, DFT, and Firmware teams to define test requirements and isolate silicon versus board-level bugs
