About p2p.org
P2P.org operates validator infrastructure across many proof-of-stake blockchain networks, securing billions of dollars in staked assets for wallets, exchanges, custodians, and individual users. The platform provides enterprise-grade staking solutions including APIs, white-label services, distributed validator technology, and restaking capabilities. P2P.org maintains SOC 2 certification and achieves 99.99% uptime across supported networks.
Skills
About the Role
You will own the architecture and develop core low-latency Rust code for Syncro. You will optimize validator submission paths, network routing, and direct QUIC/TPU ingress; deploy across multiple regions; improve high availability and failover; automate releases; and own latency, uptime, observability, and alerting.
Requirements
- Have 8+ years of experience building distributed backend or infrastructure systems, including production low-latency systems.
- Write highly efficient code using algorithms, data structures, time and space complexity, and runtime and operating-system-level performance techniques.
- Have deep knowledge of Solana internals, including validator/TPU, stake-weighted QoS, QUIC, shreds, and transaction landing.
- Have experience with trading, MEV, or market-data infrastructure.
- Have production Rust expertise, or C, C++, or Go expertise with willingness to move to Rust.
- Have networking and latency-tuning experience, including TCP/QUIC, routing, peering, co-location, and kernel/NIC tuning.
- Have production infrastructure experience with Linux, bare metal, cloud, GCP/AWS, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code.
- Know PostgreSQL and RabbitMQ or Kafka in high-availability environments.
- Have owned a complex system architecture end to end.
- Have English proficiency at C1+ level and work effectively in a remote asynchronous environment.
Responsibilities
- Own the architecture and write core low-latency Rust code for Syncro.
- Optimize validator submission paths, network routing and peering, node co-location, and direct QUIC/TPU ingress.
- Improve algorithms, data structures, memory usage, cache behavior, system calls, and lock-free concurrency.
- Lead multi-region deployments across bare-metal and cloud environments near client trading venues.
- Eliminate single points of failure through high availability and automatic failover.
- Automate safe self-service releases and own latency and uptime SLOs, observability, and alerting.
- Set technical standards through design and code review.
Benefits
- Fully remote work
- Paid vacation and sick leave
- Well-being program
- Mental health care program
- Education compensation, including foreign-language and professional-growth courses
- Equipment and co-working reimbursement program
- Overseas conferences and community immersion
