About the Role

You will design, develop, and optimise low-latency, mission-critical trading systems. You will own trading-stack components from architecture through production operation, collaborate with quants and traders, troubleshoot production issues, and improve performance, stability, observability, and operational excellence. You will lead through technical direction, code reviews, mentoring, automation, and testing of critical trading components.

Requirements

  • Production-grade Rust experience building high-performance concurrent systems
  • Experience in systematic trading, HFT, market making, quantitative trading, or similar
  • Strong AWS and Linux expertise
  • Proficiency in Python or another scripting language
  • Familiarity with FIX, REST, WebSocket, exchange connectivity, and market-data feeds
  • Knowledge of low-latency networking, including TCP, UDP, and DPDK
  • Familiarity with agentic engineering tools and concepts, including LLMs, MCP APIs, AI-first IDEs, harness engineering, and workflow automation
  • Ability to make architectural decisions, articulate trade-offs, and guide implementation across complex systems
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a fully remote global team
  • Pass background checks

  • Maintain and evolve trading infrastructure with a focus on performance, stability, observability, and operational excellence
  • Troubleshoot production issues across exchange connectivity, execution, and market-data handling
  • Drive engineering standards through technical leadership, code reviews, and mentoring
  • Leverage AI-assisted workflows and automate operational tasks
  • Contribute to functional, component, and production-readiness testing
