About the Role
You will design and optimize low-observable airframe features, model electromagnetic signatures, and lead or support radar cross-section testing. You will translate threats into survivability requirements, develop radar-absorbing materials with materials specialists, and support threat-modeling reviews and program decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline
- 7+ years of hands-on low-observable or survivability engineering experience
- Proficiency with HFSS, CST, Xpatch, SENTRi, or similar electromagnetic simulation tools
- Understanding of radar cross-section shaping, edge treatments, cavity suppression, and materials integration
- Experience with low-observable testing methods and radar cross-section measurement equipment
- Knowledge of radar-absorbing materials, coatings, and structural trade studies
- Collaboration and communication skills across design, test, and manufacturing
- U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance
