About the Role

You will build robust data-science tooling for leaders, analysts, and data scientists. You will integrate tooling with existing data offerings and core products, lead insights for reliability and efficiency initiatives, define project milestones, mentor junior colleagues, and communicate progress to technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• 7+ years of data science, machine learning, or advanced analytics experience in high-velocity, high-growth companies
• Experience applying data science and machine learning in production to build data-driven products
• Experience collaborating with senior stakeholders in Engineering, Product, and Technical Operations
• Strong coding skills in Python and SQL
• Experience with distributed data processing systems such as Spark
• Familiarity with testing, code review, and deployment
• MS or Ph.D. in a quantitative field

Responsibilities

• Build robust data science tooling for business leaders, analysts, and data scientists
• Integrate data science tooling with existing data offerings and core products
• Lead insight generation for company priorities and engineering initiatives including reliability and efficiency
• Gather requirements, define project OKRs and milestones, and communicate progress and results
• Mentor junior data scientists through project planning, technical decisions, and reviews
• Represent the data science discipline throughout the organization
• Represent the organization at academic and industrial conferences and events
