About the Role
You will own the data transformation layer and build scalable data models using dbt and SQL. You will establish data-quality standards, collaborate with stakeholders, integrate models with BI and reverse ETL systems, and maintain reliable development and monitoring practices.
Requirements
- 4+ years of analytics engineering or data engineering experience focused on ELT transformation
- Experience owning data products end-to-end
- Experience improving data warehouse performance and ETL efficiency
- Expert-level SQL and dbt skills
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience with query optimization across OLTP and OLAP systems
- Proficiency with semantic-layer modelling
- Experience owning CI/CD workflows and standards for version control and code review
- Familiarity with GCP or AWS
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data models using dbt and SQL
- Establish and enforce standards for data modelling, development, testing, and monitoring
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver reliable data products
- Create repeatable patterns for BI and reverse ETL integrations
- Champion change management, source control, code reviews, and data monitoring
