About the Role
You will build, optimise, and maintain scalable data pipelines and workflows. You will ingest, transform, and deliver high-volume data from structured and unstructured sources; design data models in Redshift; and optimise SQL for analytics and reporting. You will support the migration to AWS, improve data architecture, and embed quality, reliability, observability, and security across the data platform.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of professional Data Engineering or related experience
- Strong SQL expertise, including query optimisation, complex transformations, and data modelling
- Solid Python skills for data engineering and pipeline development
- Hands-on experience with AWS Redshift, Lambda, Glue, S3, and Airflow
- Familiarity with dbt transformation and modelling practices
- Problem-solving, critical-thinking, collaboration, ownership, and initiative
Responsibilities
- Build and optimise scalable, maintainable, high-performance data pipelines and workflows

- Design and maintain data models in Redshift
- Optimise SQL queries for analytics and reporting workloads
- Support cloud migration and improve data architecture

- Support and enhance mission-critical payments data solutions
