About the Role
You will design and build mission-critical data services and scalable features that integrate with blockchains. You will architect data models, build APIs and distributed systems, develop pipelines and streaming workflows, and collaborate with product, data science, and customer-facing stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field
- 5+ years of experience architecting scalable API development and distributed systems
- Python programming skills
- SQL or SparkSQL skills
- Experience with BigQuery and Postgres
- Experience building data pipelines, data platforms, or ML/BI workflows
- Experience with Airflow and DBT
- Experience with Dataflow, Spark, Kafka, and Flink
- Experience with Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Datadog
- Ability to load, query, and transform extensive datasets
Responsibilities
- Build scalable features that integrate with blockchains
- Design data models for efficient storage and retrieval of blockchain data
- Partner with data scientists, backend engineers, and product managers to implement data models
- Translate user needs into scalable data solutions
- Write design documents, communicate tradeoffs, and build alignment across disciplines
