About the Role

You will oversee AlphaSense's M&A Transactions and Valuations content, bringing deep knowledge of capital markets and investment research together with experience managing third-party or proprietary M&A transactions content that feeds financial research platforms and investment analysis workflows. You will collaborate with Sales and clients to understand user needs, define and manage a content roadmap with engineering and operations stakeholders, and take ownership of the content lifecycle from research and integration through testing and ongoing enhancement. You will lead the content generation process, building and maintaining taxonomies while balancing automation and expert interpretation, and you will contribute to successful feature launches including comms, marketing collateral, documentation, and training. You will also own content collection policies and track industry trends to inform product and content vision.

Requirements

10+ years of experience working in Product, Content, Operations, or equivalent roles at a financial institution, investment research platform, or market intelligence firm
3+ years of experience managing or working closely with a globally distributed content generation operation
Expert knowledge of market data and investment research databases, products, and tools
Demonstrated ability to lead a dedicated cross-functional development team of engineers, data experts, QA, scrum master
Thorough understanding of relational databases (e.g. SQL)
BSc, MSc, or MBA degree with a concentration in finance or economics or a CFA certification
Demonstrated passion for corporate finance, capital markets, financial analysis, and modeling
Experience designing, building, launching, and managing a marquee product, module, or functionality
Ability to align diverse, cross-functional teams through clear, persuasive communication and executive-level presentations
Material experience in the financial industry as a front office professional preferred
Prior experience at a market intelligence or financial research SaaS start-up preferred
Experience using iterative / agile development methodologies preferred
Experience working with distributed teams preferred

Responsibilities

Understand the market and use cases of various AlphaSense user personas
Collaborate with Sales and clients to solicit feedback for new content and functionality
Create and manage a content roadmap with content leadership, engineering, and operations stakeholders
Own the content life-cycle from research and definition to testing, delivery, and enhancement
Lead collaboration between content engineering and operations to design the data collection process
Build and maintain taxonomies and optimize the mix of technology and personpower
Contribute to successful launch of new features including comms, marketing collateral, and training material
Own content collection methodologies, rules, and policies
Track industry trends and deliver competitive intelligence
Analyze competing content sets and gather actionable customer feedback
