About the Role
You will drive the strategy, development, and execution of agentic AI-powered capabilities across marketing operations. You'll own the full product lifecycle of an innovative, AI-driven marketing automation system that leverages AI and API capabilities to orchestrate internal and external vendor platforms for marketing campaigns. You will translate business objectives into compelling product strategies, lead cross-functional teams, manage complex vendor integrations, and champion the adoption of agentic AI principles to unlock new efficiency and scale in the marketing engine. This is a high-visibility role that sits at the intersection of product strategy, marketing technology, data, platform operations, and AI innovation. You bring both ambition and pragmatism: you think big about what agentic AI can enable for marketing, while staying grounded in the realities of technology, execution, vendor relationships, and organizational change.
Requirements
- 7+ years of product management experience with proven success in marketing technology platforms, martech operations, product lifecycle management, or SaaS product strategy
- 5+ years demonstrating deep expertise in product development lifecycle best practices: discovery, requirements definition, roadmap prioritization, cross-functional delivery, and post-launch optimization
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with marketing technology ecosystems, including martech stacks, API integrations, data pipelines, CDP platforms, or marketing automation systems
- 2+ years managing external vendor or partner relationships, including contract negotiation, vendor performance management, and third-party integration oversight
- Experience in high-scale consumer digital products and/or marketplaces strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of Model Context Protocol (MCP) or agent-to-agent (A2A) architectures
- Familiarity with agentic AI frameworks and understanding of how agents orchestrate multi-step marketing workflows across vendors, products, and platforms
- Experience with prompt engineering and LLM application development or equivalent exposure in AI-first product roles
- Technical curiosity and comfort with vendor evaluation frameworks for AI/automation tools
- Demonstrated fluency in modern AI tools to enhance product management effectiveness, including research synthesis, PRD drafting, experimentation design, data analysis, and insight generation
- Working knowledge of data privacy regulations (CCPA, GDPR, state privacy laws)
- Demonstrated ability to lead without direct authority across Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Operations in a matrixed environment
- Proven track record of building clarity in ambiguous contexts, defining roles, establishing accountability (RACI), codifying handoff protocols and playbooks
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to align executives, peers, and individual contributors around shared product vision and trade-off decisions
- Data-driven mindset with comfort building business cases, tracking KPIs, and iterating strategy based on evidence
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the product roadmap for agentic campaign ideation, execution orchestration, and measurement intelligence across central marketing platforms
- Own the full product lifecycle from discovery and requirements definition through launch, monitoring, and continuous optimization
- Lead collaboration across Product, Engineering, Marketing Operations, and Commercial teams to ensure successful delivery and adoption of AI-powered capabilities
- Establish a clear vision for how MCP-based agentic systems can streamline campaign workflows, reduce manual handoffs, and improve campaign performance and team velocity
- Translate complex technical concepts such as MCP, agentic AI frameworks, and vendor APIs into clear business narratives and actionable product requirements
- Manage integration strategy and relationships with internal platforms and external vendors, ensuring seamless data flow and compliance
- Define success metrics such as KPIs and OKRs for AI-driven campaign capabilities, including adoption, efficiency gains, campaign lift, and time-to-market improvements
- Champion best practices by documenting handoff protocols, defining phase gate entry and exit criteria, establishing dependency risk frameworks, and creating reusable playbooks
