About the Role
Support enterprise and institutional partners in Japan through technical evaluations, pilots, integrations, architecture discovery, performance benchmarking, technical diligence, production deployment guidance, roadmap feedback, partner integrations, Japanese documentation localization, and technical representation at workshops and industry events.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Technical Pre-Sales professional.
- Background in blockchain infrastructure, cloud platforms, distributed systems, or financial infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with Ethereum or EVM-based systems.
- Experience with regulated institutions such as banks, asset managers, exchanges, or payments firms is a strong plus.
- Strong understanding of sequencing, finality, rollups, smart contracts, and network operations.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and production deployment environments.
- Ability to reason about performance, scalability, security, and operational tradeoffs.
- Fluent in Japanese with professional working proficiency in English.
- Strong communication skills across technical and business audiences.
- Customer-oriented, execution-focused, and comfortable operating in ambiguity.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary technical counterpart for enterprise and institutional partners during evaluations, pilots, and production integrations.
- Lead technical discovery sessions covering architecture, performance, security, compliance, and operational requirements.
- Design and support test environments, performance benchmarks, cloud deployments, and validation activities.
- Respond to technical diligence from banks, asset managers, system integrators, and regulators.
- Translate enterprise requirements into technical feedback for product and engineering teams.
- Support integrations with wallets, custody providers, cloud infrastructure, and system integrators.
- Guide partners through OP Stack architecture, deployment models, upgrade paths, and operational best practices.
- Localize documentation and provide technical enablement in Japanese.
- Participate in technical workshops, partner meetings, and industry events.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to Japanese enterprises evaluating Layer 2 and blockchain infrastructure.
