About the Role
You will perform preventive, corrective, emergency, and routine maintenance at utility-scale solar sites and substations. You will operate plant systems, troubleshoot inverters, prepare switching orders, maintain vegetation, create plant documentation, and ensure that work meets environmental and safety requirements.
Requirements
- Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Experience with electrical systems.
- Knowledge of LOTO and electrical safety.
- Technical proficiency with standard business software.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Knowledge of applicable safety and environmental regulations.
- Experience with SCADA and computerized maintenance management systems is highly recommended.
Responsibilities
- Perform O&M activities at solar PV sites and substations.
- Perform corrective, preventive, emergency, and routine maintenance.
- Maintain and troubleshoot inverters, trackers, combiner boxes, PV modules, and collection equipment.
- Prepare and implement switching and clearance orders.
- Operate electrical and mechanical power-plant systems.
- Perform technical and administrative plant-maintenance duties.
- Support vegetation-management plans and operate maintenance equipment.
- Write plant orders, procedures, operating instructions, and other documents.
- Perform work in accordance with environmental and safety requirements.
