About the Role
You will diagnose and repair power supply units and electronic assemblies used in Bitcoin mining equipment. You will troubleshoot circuit and PCB faults, perform soldering and component replacement, test repaired equipment, maintain records, and support preventive maintenance.
Requirements
- 3+ years of component-level Bitcoin mining equipment repair experience
- Experience with Bitmain power supplies, including APW11, APW12, and APW17
- Experience with MicroBT WhatsMiner equipment and power supplies
- Understanding of PSU architecture, operating principles, and diagnostic methods
- SMD and BGA soldering and rework skills
- Ability to read schematics, board diagrams, and datasheets
- Knowledge of electronics, circuit design, power electronics, and electrical systems
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair power supply units used in Bitmain and MicroBT mining equipment
- Perform component-level diagnostics on power supply circuits and electronics
- Troubleshoot IC failures, voltage irregularities, short circuits, and PCB faults
- Perform SMD and BGA soldering, rework, and component replacement
- Repair power circuits, control boards, and electronic assemblies
- Configure, test, and commission repaired equipment
- Maintain repair records, inventory information, and technical documentation
- Work with technicians, engineers, and site management to maximize fleet uptime
- Support preventive maintenance and equipment optimization
