About the Role
You will own core robotic software features from concept through delivery. You will test and troubleshoot robots, resolve software and system issues, define test plans, validate releases, improve diagnostics, and add automated tests that detect regressions early.
Requirements
- Ability to debug complex hardware and software systems
- Programming experience in C++ and Python
- Experience integrating and validating complex software systems in robotics, mechatronic, or electric vehicle environments
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field
- Ability to manage multiple high-impact priorities independently
Responsibilities
- Test robots and triage issues
- Resolve software and system bugs with cross-functional partners
- Drive architectural improvements that reduce pain points
- Define test plans for new software and firmware features
- Improve firmware, diagnostics, and self-tests using end-of-line data
- Validate software releases and support robot bring-up and troubleshooting
- Add automated tests and diagnostics that catch regressions early
