About the Role
You will contribute new features, shape the Android platform, and build mobile products. You will collaborate throughout the product lifecycle, explore Android UI and UX, and work with Kotlin and the listed Android libraries.
Requirements
- Be enrolled full-time in a degree-seeking program with an expected graduation date of Winter 2027 or Spring 2028
- Demonstrate a foundation in software engineering
- Demonstrate interest in front-end work and product design
- Demonstrate familiarity with Android components and experience contributing to an Android app
- Demonstrate experience building, maintaining, or contributing to open-source projects
- Demonstrate familiarity with Kotlin, RxJava 2, Dagger 2, and related libraries
Responsibilities
- Partner with a mentor from onboarding through shipping
- Collaborate with the design team throughout the product lifecycle
- Contribute to new features and build products
- Explore and build Android UI and UX
- Work with Kotlin, RxJava 2, Retrofit, OkHttp, Dagger 2, and Room
