About the Role

You will design, build, and maintain native Android applications. You will own Android architecture and releases, implement testing and CI/CD practices, optimize performance, integrate payments and mini-apps, and mentor engineers on AI-assisted development.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional Android development experience
  • Kotlin expertise
  • Experience shipping commercial Android applications on Google Play
  • Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Flow, Lifecycle, Room, WorkManager, and Navigation
  • Android architecture patterns, dependency injection, and state management
  • Android automated testing and CI/CD release pipelines
  • Android performance, memory, and battery profiling
  • Experience supporting fragmented Android devices and OS versions
  • Daily experience using AI coding agents or AI-assisted development tools
  • Third-party integrations, REST APIs, GraphQL APIs, and mobile SDK consumption
  • Written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain native Android applications in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
  • Deliver features from technical design through release and post-launch iteration
  • Own Android releases, including signing, App Bundles, Play Console tracks, staged rollouts, and crash and ANR triage
  • Implement code review, automated testing, and CI/CD practices
  • Integrate mini-apps, payments, and virtual-currency systems
  • Design scalable Android architecture and maintain a Compose component library
  • Lead decisions on modularization, dependency injection, navigation, and state management
  • Optimize Gradle builds and drive mobile observability
  • Use, evaluate, and establish guardrails for AI coding agents
  • Mentor engineers on AI-assisted development
