About the Role

You will design and implement high-performance software for defense tooling and data platforms. You will build simulation environments, scalable infrastructure, and mission-ready software for autonomous operations. You will partner with researchers, product teams, and defense customers, own workstreams from architecture through deployment, and ensure solutions meet operational needs.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional engineering experience, ideally with C++
  • Software engineering fundamentals in systems programming, concurrency, performance optimization, and real-time rendering or simulation pipelines
  • Interest in simulation, autonomy, robotics, or physical AI
  • Strong computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering foundation
  • Python proficiency for tooling, scripting, and integration work
  • Excellent communication skills
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Ability to hold or obtain a U.S. Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement high-performance software for defense tooling and data platforms
  • Build and extend simulation environments and virtual worlds for testing autonomous systems
  • Develop scalable infrastructure for multi-domain autonomous operations
  • Translate mission requirements into robust software solutions with researchers, product teams, and defense customers
  • Own engineering workstreams from architecture through deployment
  • Interface with defense programs and customers to meet operational demands
