About the Role
You will own backend projects from initial problem definition through production support. You will build partner-facing APIs and scheduled batch pipelines, improve existing systems, learn securities lending and settlement workflows, participate in on-call rotations, and resolve recurring operational issues at their root cause.
Requirements
- Solid fundamentals in computers, networks, databases, and distributed systems
- 3+ years building production distributed systems
- Proficiency in Go, PostgreSQL, and Kubernetes
- Ability to design RESTful APIs
Responsibilities
- Own projects from problem definition through production support
- Build partner-facing APIs and batch pipelines for new products and revenue
- Improve existing systems to handle greater volume
- Learn securities lending, collateral, settlement, and short-selling rules
- Participate in on-call rotations
- Fix root causes of recurring production issues
