About the Role
You will embed privacy controls and data-minimization techniques into products and services. You will develop privacy engineering systems for user control, anonymization, and data retention; create enforcement tooling; monitor compliance; and translate privacy requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Requirements
- Experience with privacy or security domains including anonymization, de-identification, data retention, data lineage, governance, data protection, data minimization, privacy-by-design, or privacy-preserving techniques
- Software engineering skills in C, C++, Rust, Go, Python, or similar languages
- Experience building APIs or microservices for data governance or privacy controls
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders, prioritize tasks, and work independently
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent related experience
- 8+ years of experience in privacy engineering, security engineering, or software engineering
- Verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Design and implement privacy controls and data-minimization features
- Develop and maintain privacy engineering services for user control, anonymization, and data retention
- Define and enforce data governance and data-protection practices
- Develop tooling, APIs, and libraries for privacy enforcement and compliance monitoring
- Translate privacy requirements into technical specifications and scalable software solutions
- Champion user privacy and security
