About the Role

Own the application hosting and deployment pipeline that serves user applications in production. Manage composable managed services for storage, logging, and workflows; build custom-domain infrastructure with reliable SSL provisioning and DNS management; evaluate, onboard, and migrate vendors; and establish monitoring, alerting, incident response, runbooks, and capacity planning practices.

Requirements

  • Experience building and operating distributed systems
  • Ideally 6+ years of experience in running and developing
  • Strong background in platform engineering, SRE, or infrastructure operations
  • Deep understanding of multitenant application hosting infrastructure, container orchestration, or edge runtimes
  • Vendor management experience, including evaluating services, negotiating contracts, planning migrations, and holding vendors accountable for SLAs
  • Operational mindset focused on uptime, latency percentiles, cost per request, and blast radius
