About the Role
You will bring frontier models into production and make them available to users and engineers. You will improve inference reliability through error categorization, self-healing retries, and cross-provider failover. You will own model-layer observability, develop model-level capabilities, support product adoption, and coordinate fixes across AI functions.
Requirements
- Keep current with the changing model landscape and make pragmatic adoption decisions
- Use AI tools in your work and understand where they help
- Build and operate production systems on LLM APIs
- Understand token economics, streaming, tool calling, context limits, and production failures
- Define and use evaluations to measure prompt and model changes
- Reason about latency, cost, and output-quality tradeoffs

- Bring new frontier models into production

- Own observability for the model layer
- Build new model-level capabilities and help product teams adopt them
- Identify gaps, unblock people, and ensure fixes reach the right owner across AI teams
