About the Role
You will design and implement mapping and localization solutions for autonomous and driver-assistance use cases. You will build efficient in-vehicle software and map-processing infrastructure, generate maps from raw data, and improve tools for viewing and editing maps.
Requirements
- MSc in mapping, localization, or a closely related field
- 3+ years of experience building software components or systems for mapping and localization
- Experience with relevant software frameworks or tools
- Understanding of localization concepts, world representations, transforms, mapping, and error analysis
- Knowledge of hardware-performance analysis for localization
- C++ and/or Python programming expertise
Responsibilities
- Design and implement mapping and localization solutions for embedded ECUs and cloud systems
- Implement efficient in-vehicle software for automotive SoCs
- Build infrastructure to create, store, and process maps
- Generate maps from raw data using automated techniques
- Improve tools for viewing and editing maps
