About the Role
You will design and implement motion-planning and control modules for autonomous vehicle platforms. You will characterize vehicle dynamics, develop tailored control solutions, and apply research such as nonlinear MPC and MPPI to solve navigation problems.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience building production software using modern software practices
- Hands-on experience testing control solutions on real production-grade vehicles
- Knowledge of control theory numerical optimization numerical analysis and physics
- Experience writing high-performance C++ code
- Experience solving motion planning or motion control problems
Responsibilities
- Design and implement motion planning and control modules for autonomous vehicle platforms
- Characterize customer vehicle dynamics and develop tailored control solutions
- Reduce the gap between simulation and real-world dynamics
- Evaluate and apply academic research to develop optimal-control-based solutions using nonlinear MPC and MPPI
