About the Role
You will design and implement motion-planning and control modules for accurate autonomous navigation in tight scenarios. You will characterize vehicle dynamics, reduce simulation-to-reality gaps, and apply research to create optimal-control solutions using nonlinear MPC and MPPI.
Requirements
- Experience with motion planning or motion control problems
- Bachelor's, MSc, or PhD in mechanical engineering or computer science with relevant coursework or research
- 3+ years of production software experience using modern practices
- Experience testing controls solutions on production-grade vehicles
- Knowledge of control theory, numerical optimization, numerical analysis, and physics
- High-performance C++ experience
