About the Role
You will own cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, deployment systems, GPU capacity, and model-serving pipelines. You will participate in on-call, improve reliability and observability, manage infrastructure cost trade-offs, strengthen security boundaries, and provide architectural direction, reviews, mentoring, and operational documentation.
Requirements
- 8 or more years building and operating production distributed systems or server-side infrastructure
- Experience leveraging AI agents in engineering work
- Production reliability and deployment experience
- Incident command and rollback experience
- Experience using SLOs and error budgets
- Production experience with a major cloud provider and Kubernetes
- Infrastructure-as-code experience
- Architecture or migration ownership experience
Responsibilities
- Operate GCP, Kubernetes, Temporal, GPU infrastructure, and deployment systems
- Participate in on-call and improve incident actionability
- Build training and inference pipelines
- Manage infrastructure reliability and cost
- Implement identity, access, secrets, and supply-chain security controls
- Create infrastructure-as-code, runbooks, and observability
- Improve tooling, tests, standards, and release practices
- Provide architectural direction, reviews, and mentoring
