About the Role

You will contribute to cloud storage features from design through rollout, write sustainable software and design documentation, and participate in architecture, design, and code reviews. You will collaborate across engineering on storage infrastructure and technical initiatives.

Requirements

Experience building and operating large-scale distributed cloud computing infrastructure products
Knowledge of software development lifecycle practices including coding standards, code review, source control, build processes, testing, and operations
Experience with Java or Go
Exposure to Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or Terraform
Knowledge of Linux systems internals and computer architecture
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to pass a background check

Responsibilities

Contribute to cloud storage feature projects
Collaborate with product and engineering to define and execute roadmap features
Write sustainable software and design documentation
Participate in software qualification and rollout from bare metal to user-facing APIs
Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, code reviews, and implementation
Collaborate with engineers to support continuous learning
Contribute to engineering-wide initiatives, including tech talks and open-source development
