About the Role
You will build and maintain integrations between the recorder, game engines, and game-specific APIs. You will develop Unreal and Unity plugins, extract game-specific data, investigate how games expose data, work with APIs and log files, and optimize complex features using profiling and usage metrics.
Requirements
- 5+ years of C# experience in performance-critical contexts
- Understanding of Windows
- Experience with game development or game systems
- Code performance and profiling knowledge
- Experience with A/B testing and usage metrics
- Interest in gaming communities and Discord
- C or C++ experience in performance-critical contexts is a bonus
- Graphics API experience with DX11, DX12, or Vulkan is a bonus
- Reverse engineering and hooking or injection experience is a bonus
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain integrations with game engines and game-specific APIs
- Develop Unreal and Unity engine plugins
- Extract game-specific data to support automatic clipping
- Investigate how games expose required data
- Work with game APIs and log files
- Own end-to-end quality for complex features
- Profile and optimize production code performance
- Measure feature results with A/B testing and usage metrics
