About the Role
You will design, develop, test, debug, and optimize kernel-mode drivers for AI accelerator hardware. You will work on virtualization, memory management, PCIe communication, synchronization, security, diagnostics, and performance profiling. You will collaborate with hardware and software engineers to resolve system-level issues and deliver production-ready drivers.
Requirements
- C/C++ proficiency
- Knowledge of kernel-mode driver development and debugging
- Understanding of operating system internals
- Experience with hardware-software interfaces and device drivers
- Experience with kernel memory management and synchronization
- Knowledge of PCIe
- Experience with SR-IOV and VFIO
- Knowledge of kernel memory mapping, page tables, and IOMMU
- Knowledge of hardware-software co-design
- Experience with Git
- Experience with gdb or kgdb
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain kernel-mode drivers
- Optimize driver performance for AI workloads
- Collaborate with hardware engineers during ASIC design
- Implement support for SR-IOV, VFIO, and para-virtualization
- Implement kernel memory management and IOMMU configurations
- Build drivers with host, memory, and device-attestation security
- Diagnose and resolve driver issues using kernel debugging tools
- Design synchronization mechanisms for multiple accelerators
- Develop and execute driver test plans
- Collaborate on complex system-level issues
