About the Role
You will build telemetry, platform architecture, robot-control software, and production components across the stack. You will write Rust and TypeScript, debug distributed and real-time systems, and collaborate across engineering disciplines to improve platform reliability and performance.
Requirements
- Industry experience building and deploying production systems in multiple languages
- Rust experience is valuable but not required
- Familiarity with Linux systems and conventions
- Knowledge of UDP, TCP/IP, and WebSockets
- Ability to drive projects from start to finish
- Strong computer-science or mathematics foundation including linear algebra and 3D transformations
Responsibilities
- Build real-time telemetry for robots on site
- Design core platform architecture and software abstractions
- Prototype and ship components for robot microcontrollers and distributed subsystems
- Debug cross-stack issues including memory leaks, connectivity problems, and race conditions
- Write Rust and TypeScript robot-control code
- Improve platform reliability and performance with engineering collaborators
