About the Role
Join Alliance's in-house engineering team and own features across discovery, design, implementation, launch, and iteration. Build production-grade TypeScript applications with React, Next.js, and Node.js; develop internal tools; ship across founder and public-facing products; integrate third-party APIs; and improve engineering quality, reliability, CI/CD, and accessibility.
Requirements
- Product-minded builder able to turn ambiguous problems into shipped software without a dedicated PM or designer.
- Deep experience with TypeScript, React, and Node.js; Next.js and Postgres or Prisma familiarity are beneficial.
- Strong UX/UI taste and ability to sketch flows or lightweight wireframes before coding.
- Hands-on individual contributor with strong ownership, prioritization, speed, and attention to detail.
- Highly autonomous, entrepreneurial, and self-driven.
- Comfortable using modern AI tools to work faster.
- Based in NYC or willing to relocate to NYC.
Responsibilities
- Own products and features end to end from discovery through production.
- Write production-grade TypeScript across the stack using React, Next.js, and Node.js.
- Build and maintain internal tools that accelerate the team.
- Ship features across external sites, the Space founder portal, and public marketing surfaces.
- Craft polished UIs with React and contribute components and patterns to the internal component library.
- Integrate authentication, payments, and email APIs while managing data models, caching, and performance.
- Improve engineering quality through code reviews, CI/CD, reliability, and accessibility.
