About the Role

You will own and improve foundational C++ infrastructure for real-time robot systems. You will build sensor and motor-control interfaces, deterministic scheduling, IPC and serialization layers, and performance tooling. You will ensure the software remains reliable, maintainable, and performant as deployments scale.

Requirements

• 5+ years of production C++ experience in performance-critical systems
• Systems-level profiling, benchmarking, and debugging experience
• Linux systems fluency, including toolchains, ABI, kernel interfaces, and cross-compilation
• Experience writing reliable systems code with clean interfaces and deterministic behavior
• Experience with real-time or safety-critical systems
• Knowledge of lock-free data structures, memory pools, and shared-memory IPC
• Experience with embedded Linux targets

Responsibilities

• Improve real-time C++ infrastructure for sensor pipelines, motor control interfaces, and deterministic scheduling
• Deliver benchmarking, flamegraph tooling, and regression tracking
• Build IPC and serialization layers using lock-free queues, memory pools, and shared-memory buffers
• Ship reliable foundational libraries for production robots
