About the Role
Build new and existing centralized exchange integrations, process large transaction datasets through external APIs, CSV files, and Excel spreadsheets, improve real-time transaction syncing and monitoring, resolve import issues, and enhance integration workflows.
Requirements
- Interest in and personal investment in crypto
- Understanding of major centralized crypto-market participants
- Knowledge of APIs, CSV files, and Excel spreadsheets
- Experience working with poorly documented crypto-exchange APIs
- 1–3 years of backend software-engineering experience
- Professional experience with C# and .NET
- Experience balancing delivery speed and development quality
- Experience working with support teams
- Experience coaching engineers
Responsibilities
- Build new integrations for the platform
- Improve existing integrations
- Improve the efficiency of integration work
- Improve import infrastructure for real-time transaction syncing from crypto exchanges
- Build monitoring systems for breaking crypto-exchange changes
- Build workflows to fetch real-time balances from crypto exchanges
- Deliver improvements and bug fixes to existing integrations
- Build file-based integrations for CSV and Excel transaction histories
- Build and launch API-based crypto-exchange integrations
- Identify, document, and implement process improvements
- Work with support to resolve issues and improve the import experience
Hiring Process
In the first month, work closely with the team lead to get onboarded, deliver improvements and bug fixes, build a CSV/Excel file-based integration, and document process improvements. Within the first three months, build and launch an API-based crypto-exchange integration, ship high-impact importer improvements, and become a pivotal member of the core integrations team.
