About the Role
You will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and applications using Node.js and TypeScript. You will build and integrate RESTful APIs, optimize MySQL databases, deploy releases across environments, monitor production systems, resolve performance and reliability issues, and implement secure authentication and authorization practices. You will collaborate with frontend, QA, DevOps, product, and engineering stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of professional backend software development experience
- Node.js
- TypeScript
- MySQL database design, query optimization, indexing, and transaction management
- RESTful API and backend service development
- Production deployment of scalable software applications

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and applications using Node.js and TypeScript
- Build scalable, high-performance, and maintainable software solutions
- Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs
- Develop and optimize MySQL schemas, queries, indexes, and transactions
- Deploy backend applications across development, staging, and production environments
- Identify bottlenecks, troubleshoot issues, and improve performance and scalability
- Implement security practices, validation, authentication, authorization, and error handling
- Monitor deployed applications and resolve production issues
- Collaborate with frontend, QA, DevOps, product, and engineering teams
- Stay current with backend technologies, frameworks, deployment practices, and engineering best practices
