About the Role
You'll work with a nimble team of engineers to build and scale Nebula, a Universal Blockchain Interface, and help maintain the leading developer SDKs in web3 x AI. You'll make key decisions on architecture, developer experience, and implementation of critical tools, services, and systems. You'll own the development of the Nebula t1 Model and future innovating technologies in AI x Web3, talk directly to users to understand their problems, and design solutions to address them. You'll collaborate closely with product and design teams to solve customer challenges, plan new features, and iterate from lessons learned. You'll also communicate with customers to help them integrate thirdweb into their applications or platforms, and write documentation for developer-facing functions and APIs.
Requirements
- 4+ years experience on a software development team for a product-focused web application
- Experience and interest in blockchain development
- Experience and interest in AI/ML
- Familiar with methods of training and fine-tuning large language models, such as distillation, supervised fine-tuning, and policy optimization
- Ability to propose novel product features that can be built with LLMs and integrate them into the product
- Proven track record of working with LLM APIs and prompting challenges
- Proven ability to take on complex, large-scale technical projects end-to-end in a team setting
- Excited about working in a fast-paced, unstructured environment that prioritizes delivering impact and learning over process
- Know when and how to make calculated tradeoffs to meet the needs of the customer and business
- Experience in developer-first products (SDKs, API design, technical documentation)
- Experience in blockchain development (interacting with wallets or smart contracts)
- Experience in blockchain technologies (EVM)
Responsibilities
- Own the development of Nebula t1 Model and future innovating technologies in AI x Web3
- Talk to users to understand their problems and design solutions to address them
- Collaborate with product and design teams to solve customer challenges, plan new features, and iterate from lessons learned
- Communicate with customers to assist in integrating thirdweb into their application or platform
- Write documentation associated with developer-facing functions or APIs
