About the Role
You will prototype, develop, scale, and operate core AI platform primitives. You will work across infrastructure, shared libraries, APIs, and product integrations; provide production-ready paths for AI features; diagnose model and provider behavior; improve latency and cost; and support safe model adoption through versioning, controlled rollouts, compatibility layers, and quality gates.
Requirements
- Experience with LLM, ML platform, data, or infrastructure teams operating critical shared systems
- Understanding of reliability, latency, cost, and quality challenges at scale
- Ability to work across backend, infrastructure, libraries, and product code
- Ability to debug ambiguous system behavior across layers
- Ability to prioritize trade-offs across quality, latency, cost, reliability, and execution speed
Responsibilities
- Prototype, develop, and scale core AI platform systems and primitives
- Partner with product teams to provide production-ready AI platform paths and guardrails
- Work across infrastructure, shared libraries, APIs, and product integration points
- Operate critical AI systems using observability and diagnostics
- Debug provider and model behavior and improve latency and cost
- Support adoption of models and providers through versioning, controlled rollouts, compatibility layers, and quality and reliability gates
