About the Role
You will develop softgoods products from early concepts through production. You will build prototypes, tooling, and fixtures; establish fabrication workflows; solve manufacturing challenges with partners and vendors; and lead technology introduction and risk resolution.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience
- Bachelor of Science in engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Portfolio showcasing professional work, personal projects, and passion projects
- CAD and mechanical design
- Hands-on fabrication experience
Responsibilities
- Drive softgoods products from early concept through production
- Build prototypes, tooling, and fixtures
- Partner with designers, engineers, manufacturing partners, and vendors to resolve development challenges
- Develop assembly, bonding, and fabrication workflows
- Lead new technology introduction, problem-solving, risk identification, and continuous improvement
