About the Role

Join Paxos Labs's experienced smart contract team to scale DeFi protocol infrastructure for enterprise onchain financial products. The role focuses on DeFi yield strategies, tokenization, decentralized lending, vaults, protocol design, Solidity development, and comprehensive testing.

Requirements

  • Deep knowledge of lending codebases including Compound, Aave, Morpho Blue, MakerDAO, Euler, EVC, Liquity, and Pendle.
  • Deep knowledge of vault codebases including Yearn V3, Metamorpho/Morpho V2, BoringVaults, ERC7540, and Centrifuge.
  • Familiarity with AMMs or solver networks such as CoW Protocol, UniswapX, 1inch, and Uniswap V3/V4.
  • Familiarity with RFQs and off-chain exchange systems, including TradFi.
  • Experience shipping production Solidity smart contract code to mainnet.
  • Experience developing and maintaining unit, fork, fuzzing, and invariant tests using tools such as Foundry invariants or Echidna.
  • Experience with Foundry or Hardhat.
  • Familiarity with Vyper, Rust, Cairo, or CosmWasm.
  • Experience as an active user, investor, or participant in DeFi protocols.
  • Nice-to-haves include CTFs, gas golfing, hackathons, rollups, node operations, rollup design, and zero-knowledge proofs.

Responsibilities

  • Research and design novel protocol mechanisms around vaults, lending, and other DeFi primitives.
  • Lead protocol design decisions while considering trust-assumption and efficiency tradeoffs.
  • Develop Solidity contracts and produce comprehensive protocol test suites.
  • Maintain exemplary organizational and security standards for an open source codebase.
