About the Role
You will build a robust indoor SLAM system that fuses LiDAR, camera, IMU, and odometry data. You will develop software pipelines and processes for multi-sensor calibration, and work with perception and motion-planning engineers on indoor navigation and collision avoidance. Your work will help the robot generate safe, smooth, and natural motions in dynamic home environments.
Requirements
- Experience with vision-only or lidar-based SLAM pipelines
- Understanding of spatial math, including 3D rotation representations, frame transformations, and camera projections
- Familiarity with multi-sensor time-synchronization methods
- Experience writing production-quality software in Python or C++
