About the Role
You deploy automate maintain and manage cloud-based and on-premises production systems. You document requirements improve architecture and processes troubleshoot platform issues implement automated provisioning and scaling and handle alerts incidents and on-call operations.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of engineering experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field or proven DevOps experience
- Willingness to continuously upgrade skills
- Experience managing cloud servers such as AWS or GCP
- Experience with Kubernetes Docker Nginx or OpenTelemetry is a plus
- Experience with on-premises physical servers databases and storage solutions is a plus
- Familiarity with MySQL PostgreSQL Redis Terraform or Pulumi
- Desire to transition into engineering management is valued
Responsibilities
- Deploy automate maintain and manage production systems
- Document architecture and system requirements
- Apply security best practices with security and infrastructure teams
- Maintain production system availability performance scalability and security
- Troubleshoot platform and application issues
- Suggest architectural improvements and process optimizations
- Evaluate technologies for the infrastructure stack
- Remediate system security policies
- Automate server provisioning scaling testing and compliance checks
- Handle alerts incidents and on-call operations
