About the Role

You will contribute to one or more engineering areas based on your background. Your work may include optical-component design and simulation, silicon photonics testing, analog and mixed-signal design, laser characterization, board bring-up, RTL, design verification, physical design, or firmware development.

Requirements

• Pursuing or recently completed a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Hands-on experience through coursework, capstone projects, research labs, or past internships
• Familiarity with at least one relevant tool: SolidWorks, ANSYS, ADS, or Cadence

Responsibilities

• Support design and simulation of optical components and photonic interconnects
• Develop and run tests that validate silicon photonics products
• Assist with analog and mixed-signal circuit design and verification
• Contribute to laser-source characterization and integration
• Support board bring-up, lab validation, and system integration
• Work on RTL development, photonics-circuit modeling, algorithms, and control logic
• Build testbenches and run simulations for chip design verification
• Perform synthesis, timing analysis, floorplanning, place-and-route, or physical verification of ASIC blocks
• Develop low-level drivers, laser-control algorithms, and system-level telemetry
