About the Role

Supervises assembly and electrical integration leads and technicians while overseeing manufacturing across five assembly lines. Manages project performance, production schedules, resource plans, manufacturing processes, safety procedures, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost. Leads and develops production personnel, applies Lean Manufacturing methods, coordinates with other departments, and assesses project risks.

Requirements

  • Technical responsibilities in a manufacturing environment
  • Electrical and mechanical design skills
  • Ability to supervise and guide crews
  • Ability to resolve issues and make recommendations
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Drug and alcohol program participation
  • Six Sigma Green Belt is a bonus
  • Manufacturing MDC or PDC equipment experience is a bonus
  • Master Electrician is a bonus

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned manufacturing projects
  • Achieve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost metrics
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing tools and concepts
  • Develop production schedules and resource plans
  • Lead, mentor, and develop production team members
  • Monitor and report operational inputs
  • Oversee manufacturing personnel
  • Promote safety, accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Project Management
  • Maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and vendors
  • Manage project processes, procedures, equipment, and execution strategies
  • Provide manufacturing input to the Director of Manufacturing
  • Participate in production hour estimating
  • Conduct design for manufacturability reviews
  • Perform risk assessments
  • Develop manufacturing processes and safety procedures
  • Assess team member skills
