About the Role

You will develop tracking, fusion, and state-estimation capabilities for unmanned autonomous systems. You will design single-agent and multi-target detection and tracking algorithms, build decentralised swarm-tracking algorithms, and turn concepts into robust deployable production software with cross-functional partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related engineering field
  • 5+ years developing tracking and fusion software for autonomous robotic systems
  • Experience processing optical, RF, radar, and lidar sensor measurements
  • Experience with Kalman filters and particle filters
  • Experience with multi-target prediction and tracking
  • Experience with cross-platform sensor fusion
  • Proficiency in C++ and Python
  • Ability to obtain and maintain UK security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Develop tracking fusion and state-estimation capabilities
  • Design single-agent and multi-target detection and tracking algorithms
  • Develop decentralised multi-agent multi-target tracking algorithms
  • Build deployable software for real-world autonomous systems
  • Collaborate with autonomy engineers software engineers and cross-functional teams
