About the Role

You will conduct thermal and fluid simulation analysis for components in data centers, including cold plates, servers, cooling towers, and air and liquid cooling circulation systems. Based on your simulation results, you will provide optimization recommendations for component-level structural designs and offer design and selection guidance for core cooling system components such as fans, circulation pumps, and pipelines. You will perform thermal simulations for high-performance computing data center site layouts, including server-room and campus-level simulations, airflow distribution, cooling system simulations, and energy consumption analysis. You will provide recommendations for site layouts, air conditioning configurations, hot and cold aisle designs, and cooling pathways, and you will participate in data center site selection evaluation, analyzing how geographic location and climate affect cooling systems. You will use professional simulation software such as Flotherm, Fluent, and Icepak to build models and analyze thermal fields, pressure fields, flow resistance, and temperature distribution. You will design and validate experiments for component-level and system-level products, verify simulation results, and produce project summaries. You will research advanced thermal management technologies, including new materials, thermal stacking architectures, and thermal modeling, staying current with industry developments and improving simulation methodologies. You will also develop and deliver training on thermal design standards and procedures.
