About the Role
You will assess AI risks, control environments, governance frameworks, and model lifecycle controls. You will partner with business, technology, compliance, cybersecurity, and audit stakeholders; establish risk metrics and reporting; advise on AI governance standards; and support assurance, testing, issue management, audits, and regulatory examinations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of AI, information technology risk, cybersecurity, controls, or audit experience
- Technology risk assessment, control assessment, or IT audit experience
- Knowledge of cybersecurity, technology risk, and operational risk principles for AI solutions
- Ability to analyze AI architectures, data flows, model development processes, and technical control environments
- AI governance and risk knowledge
- Knowledge of NIST AI Risk Management Framework, ISO/IEC 42001, SOC 2, ISO 27001, and COBIT
- AI profiling and analysis tool experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide independent oversight of AI risks
- Execute AI risk assessments and control evaluations
- Assess AI governance frameworks, model lifecycle controls, and responsible AI practices
- Partner with business, technology, compliance, cybersecurity, and audit teams
- Establish and monitor AI risk metrics, KRIs, and reporting
- Advise stakeholders on AI governance frameworks, regulatory expectations, and emerging risks
- Support control testing, issue management, audit engagement, and regulatory examinations
- Enhance AI governance, control environments, and responsible AI programs
