About the Role

You will define target architectures, architecture principles, and engineering guardrails for cloud-native software development. You will shape AI governance, establish standards for AI solutions and development tools, advise engineering teams, and evaluate technologies, methods, and trends.

Requirements

  • Tertiary education in computer science.
  • Several years of experience as an enterprise, lead, or principal IT architect focused on software architecture.
  • Experience with Domain-Driven Design, microservices, event-driven architectures, API-first, cloud-native architecture, and container platforms.
  • Experience across the software development lifecycle, engineering standards, DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and platform engineering.
  • Practical experience in AI-assisted software development and AI governance.
  • Experience creating enterprise target architectures, reference architectures, technology standards, and architecture decisions.
  • Very good German and English.

Responsibilities

  • Define target architectures, architecture principles, and engineering guardrails.
  • Shape and develop AI governance and architecture requirements.
  • Define standards and best practices for AI solutions and AI-assisted development tools.
  • Advise architecture, development, and platform teams on modern engineering practices.
  • Evaluate and establish technologies, methods, and trends in software engineering, platforms, automation, and AI.
