About the Role
You will provide technical support for Databricks Platform issues and guide customers through technical and architectural challenges. You will troubleshoot complex issues, advise on performance and integrations, collaborate with Engineering, maintain knowledge resources, and participate in on-call rotations.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience designing, building, testing, and maintaining Python, Java, or Scala applications
- Expert Python knowledge desired
- SQL database experience
- Linux or Unix administration skills
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience with distributed big-data computing
- Technical degree or equivalent experience
- Written and spoken Japanese and English proficiency
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex Databricks platform issues
- Provide best-practice support for customer-built solutions
- Recommend performance improvements for customer environments
- Assist with third-party integrations
- Coordinate with Engineering and escalation teams to resolve customer issues
- Create and maintain documentation and knowledge articles
- Advocate for customers
- Develop AWS, Azure, and Databricks platform expertise through training
- Participate in weekend and weekday on-call rotations
